Laure

1976

Dir.: Emmanuelle Arsan

Roberto D'Ettorre Piazzoli |

Louis-Jacques Rollet-Andriane|

Annie Belle | Al Cliver

Laure stars the fantastic Annie Belle as a woman that is in search of a lost tribe in the Philippines that will provide her with a "rebirth" or re-awakening of her life. While this film doesn't expressly have anything to do with Black Emanuelle (although the character of Laure eventually meets Emanuelle in Black Emanuelle, White Emanuelle), it definitely feels like it belongs to that series. The always reliable Al Cliver co-stars. From the wonderful soundtrack by Franco Micalizzi, to the lush photography, Laure is a great time and absolutely deserved a sequel.
