A young girl is recruited into a cult, with the leader thinking that her father's extreme wealth will benefit the organization. Laura Gemser is the "Divine One": a charismatic leader who isn't afraid to literally crack the whip once in a while. The second-in-command is Dorian (Christian Anders), he likes to act important and demonstrate his karate moves whenever possible. Eventually, the cult implodes and the authorities close in. A total vanity project for Christian Anders, Love Cult features numerous musical numbers, the cheapest sets you've ever seen, and lots of women complementing Anders. Laura Gemser and Gabriele Tinti look agitated that they're even involved in the film.
