Emanuelle nera: Orient reportage
Dir.: Joe D'Amato
Laura Gemser | Ely Galleani | Gabriele Tinti | Ivan Rassimov
We catch up with Emanuelle traveling in Thailand to interview a prince (Ivan Rassimov) who appears to be hiding a dangerous secret. There's elephants, rape, some opium smoking, and a scene of animal violence (snake vs. muskrat). Still, give credit to Joe D'Amato for setting up a winning formula here. The pacing is much better compared to the first film and fresh-faced Laura Gemser really brings a sense of poise to her role. Nico Fidenco's score is particularly noteworthy here: one of his funky best.
